1. Research

We start by understanding your business, your culture, and exactly what good looks like for this role. We build a candidate longlist, draft a briefing document, and agree the interview process and timeline with you upfront.

2. Search

We go into the market. Quiet, targeted outreach to the right people. We interview candidates, write detailed synopses, gather market intelligence, and present you with a quality shortlist within an agreed timeframe.

3. Aftercare

Once your hire is in place, we don't disappear. We support the onboarding process and stay in regular contact with both you and the candidate for six to twelve months to make sure the placement sticks.

Why retained and exclusive? Can't we just use you on contingency?

Because retained search gets a fundamentally different level of commitment. We're not one of five agencies racing to send you CVs first. We do the work properly, which means exclusivity matters.

How long does a search typically take?

Most searches run over six to eight weeks from briefing to shortlist presentation. We'll agree a clear timeline with you before we start.

What seniority of roles do you cover?

We work across executive and director level, senior appointments, and high-impact mid-level roles across construction, technical, commercial, customer care, and sales functions.

Do you work across all construction sectors?

Yes. We work with residential housebuilders, civil engineering firms, and general construction businesses across the UK and the US.

What if the hire doesn't work out?

We stay close to every placement for six to twelve months. If something isn't right, we want to know early so we can help address it. We're not in the business of placing people and walking away.
